Obituary of Donnie Dwayne Wheeler

Mr. Donnie Dwayne Wheeler, age 64, of Lafayette, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at his residence. Funeral services for Donnie Wheeler are scheduled to be conducted on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 1PM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Jeremy Yokley, Brother Daniel Garrett, and Brother Roy Alford officiating. Interment will follow in The New Liberty General Baptist Church Cemetery in The Bugtussle Community.

Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 10 AM until 8 PM, and on Friday from 8 AM until service time at 1 PM.

Donnie was preceded in death by his Son, Josh Wheeler; Father, James Richard Wheeler; Brother, Ricky Wheeler; and Great-Granddaughter, Ansley Walker.
