Obituary of Thomas Gerard "Tom" Gorski

Thomas Gerard “Tom” Gorski, age 60 of Gallatin, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.  Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday, April 16th at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Danny Spano officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, April 16th from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Long Hollow Church Celebrate Recovery, 3031 Long Hollow Pike, Hendersonville, TN  37075.

Mr. Gorski was born October 23, 1963 in Michigan to the late John Francis Gorski and Andrea Lindsey Gorski.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Joshua Gorski; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Mary Russell (who showed him unconditional love); sister, Shirley Russell; and brothers, Steve McGrew and Matt Reller.  He is survived by wife of 36 years, Valerie Russell Gorski of Gallatin; children, Thomas Gorski of Gallatin, Emily Gorski (Joseu Ercules) of Gallatin, Zachary Baird of Louisiana, and Marissa Meredith of Wisconsin; brothers, John Gorski of Florida,  John Russell (Pam) of Oak Ridge, and Andy Russell of Oregon; sisters, Julie O’Rourke (Patrick) of Lawrenceburg, Patricia Davidson (Garry) of Estill Springs, Elisa McDole (Ron) of Gallatin, Ronalda Smith (Darrell) of Hermitage, and Mary Lynn McGrew of Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews; beloved dogs, Heidi and Zeus; Smokey the cat;  grand-fur babies, Sutton, Asuna, Mimosa, and Moonshine; and feather baby, Ford.  Mr. Gorski served our country in the United States Army.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
