Obituary of Shirley Jean Brawner Gregory

Mrs. Shirley Jean Brawner Gregory, age 85, of Lafayette, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Macon Community Hospital. Funeral Services for Shirley Gregory are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 1 PM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Elder Ricky Wilson and Elder Kevin Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in The Nelson McDonald Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 3 PM until 9 PM, and on Sunday from 8 AM until service time at 1PM.

Family respectfully requests donations be made towards the funeral expense.

Shirley was preceded in death by Husband, Audie Lee Gregory, Sr.; Daughter, Cindy Gregory; Parents, Clifton Brawner and Annie Katherine Wright Brawner; Brothers, Ralph Brawner, Bill Brawner, Carl Brawner, and Grover Brawner; and Sister, Elsie Kemp.
