When I met Jim B for the first time, we had all gone out for dinner. His dinner had a baked potato with it. Jim B was in the process of telling some great dinner time stories to crowd, he suddenly stopped, called the waitress over and asked for more butter to "loosen up " his potato "a bit". I was captivated by this whole encounter and have treasured this memory for many years. RIP Jim B. You will be missed.

Great friend and companion. I worked with Jimmy B at Nortel and I know that every waffle house in the Tennessee and the south is a little less enjoyable. God Speed my friend and I know you where in heaven 30 minutes before the devil knew you where gone.

Paw Paw,
Our conversation last Saturday will stay in my heart forever. It was the most beautiful words ever spoken from you. It brought so much joy to hear you talk about how amazing God's love for us is. To know you had peace about going Home and meeting your Savior was so comforting. I'll be forever thankful to the Lord, that he gave you enough strength to make it to your house surrounded by your children and other loved ones before you took your last breath. He honored your last wish and that shows how awesome and loving our Lord is. I'll smile every time I pass a Waffle House or drive through the country cause I'll be thinking about you. You said you hope God will let you have a picnic. I know that's gonna be one awesome picnic cause Uncle Jimbo, Uncle Dave, your brother and parents will be there with you. I love you!

I lost a truly wonderful father inlaw and friend. He always treated me as if I was his daughter, except I wasn't called Angel(hehe, Michelle), but he always would say to me "well darling", I still hear those words in my head. He had a heart of gold and I'm really going to miss him. I'll miss his words of advice and his love. I love you JimB, u'll always be in my heart and I'm sure u'r happy to be with u'r family in Heaven.

The best friend a man could have. So thankful for the memories; the talks, the laughs, the jokes, and the many hours spent at Waffle House. You will be missed, but I find comfort in knowing we will see each other again one day. - Ken You were one of a kind Jim B., I knew that as soon as we met. You nicknamed me 'cherokee' and welcomed me into the 'Nortel Family' without reservation. I will always remember the way you cared for people, loved your little dogs, and enjoyed your Wild Turkey. Until we meet again ... Rest in Peace. - Sharlet
