Obituary of Evelyn Powers Maxwell

Evelyn Powers Maxwell left this earth to spend eternity with her Savior she loved and served Christmas Morning, December 25, 2013. Funeral services for Evelyn Maxwell, 91, of Lebanon will be Saturday, December 28, 2013, 1:00 pm at Sellers Funeral Home of Lebanon with burial at the Wilson County Cemetery, also in Lebanon, Tennessee. Visitation is two hours prior to the service. Ms. Maxwell was born October 20, 1922, to Josiah Pemberton Powers and Maggie Brooke Barefoot Powers of Bruington, Virginia. Her adult life was dedicated to teaching Child Evangelism to children in her home and church. She was a member of Grace Bible Church of Lebanon, Tennessee. Survived by one daughter Judy Maxwell Doshier and husband H. Lynn Doshier of Decatur, Alabama; one son Mark Thomas Maxwell and wife Cathy Maxwell of Lebanon, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and ten nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 45 years Frank Thomas Maxwell, and six siblings.
