Daddy, The smiles you have given many many people in your life will never ever be forgotten. You have touched my heart and life in so many ways. I will never forget all the times you cheered Liz and I up when we were down. The many times you talked to us both when we had our little best friend fights. I miss you already and I know you will always be looking down on all of us and sending your wonderful smile and warmth our way. I love you like a dad today and always will. Love your adopted daughter by a friendship that will never end. Please tell GOD to give my best friend peace and let her know that you are safe with him. I love you!!! Love, AmandaJane AKA ( RED )

Joyce-I am so sorry for your loss as Eddie was such a good man. I loved his smile, the way he said my name and most importantly he always made me and everyone feel welcomed and special. I liked how he wasn't scared of anything...but you. lol He was a good faithful husband. I tear up as I think about him being gone. The angels are lucky to have him and I am sure he is making them laugh now as he rubs his beard! :)

Several years ago when my son played softball, I overheard another parent state that she worked at Horizon Concrete. I turned to her and asked, "Do you know my cousin, Eddie Davis?" Immediately, her face lit up and with a laughing nod, she stated, "Is he not the craziest person in this world?" For the next hour, she shared Eddie's work antics, and I shared cherished childhood memories of a cousin that lived to see if he could turn his mother prematurely grey in her early 30s. Eddie's love of family, life and laughter will forever live on in the many, many memories he has given to those who were fortunate to know him. May he rest in peace with a body completely healed of all sickness and pain.

I just loved everything about Eddie. He was so kind to everyone with the warmest smile that I could always depend on when I would see him. I will miss him stopping in just to check in on me and say Hi. My heart goes out to all his family..he truly was a very kind soul in this world. We know his smile has made heaven a lot brighter and we all will share that with him someday. God Bless you all with comfort.

Hope is a wellspring of life. It gives meaning and direction, a light used to read life's darkened corners. I hope you and your family use the candle of Eddie's memory as a guide to matters of the heart.
