Obituary of Alvis Gene Green

Gene Green passed away on April 26, 2013 at age 79. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday. The Funeral Service, conducted by Reverend Danny Sellars, is 10 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2013. Interment in Prosperity Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers: Coffee Club at Frankie's. Survivors include: wife of 55 years, Louise Green; children: Brenda (Michael) Williams and Jim (Lisa) Green; sister: Lula Carrell; grandchildren: Brook, Rex, and Emma Green, Jason and Derek Williams, Rachel Goodman, and Amber and Wesley Williams; sister-in-law: Pat (William) Vanatta; brother-in-law: Donnie Hamilton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Joseph and Emma Devers Green, son Robert Joseph Green, and brothers Bates, Thomas, James, Walter, and Johnny Green.
