Obituary of William Benton W.B. Trusty
W.B. Trusty, of Watertown, passed away on May 29, 2010 at age 88. Mr. Trusty was a U.S. Army Veteran who served our country in WWII. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 2-8 p.m. on Monday, May 31st and from 10 a.m. until service on Tuesday. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Billy Trice, is 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Interment in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Family will serve as Pallbearers. Survivors include four children: Doug (Rosemary) Trusty, Doyle (Debbie) Trusty, Kathy Manning, and Ronnie Trusty; sister: Juanita Ervin; grandchildren: Dwight (Sharie) Jones, David Jones, Chris (Kim) Trusty, Emy (Robert) Bates, Angie (Greg) Metcalf, Lisa Callis, Stephen (Kristin) Manning, Ashley Trusty, Brittney Trusty, and Bronson Manning; great-granchildren: Will Estes, Jessica Hasty, Micah Estes, Devin Carson, Allison Jones, Kayla Metcalf, Skylar Metcalf, and Reese Callis. Mr. Trusty is preceded in death by wife of 69 years, A.Z. Trusty, daughter Lenita Kay Miley, parents Charlie and Velma Ross Trusty, brothers Halton, Alfred, Odie, and Gene Trusty, and sisters Annie Letha Barnes, Wilma Davis, Marguerite Mealer, and Edith McCormick.
