Melinda Sue Brown, precious friend for 40 years...I will miss your smile, your giving spirit, your laughter..I can hear you say "How's my girlfriend ? Us at this age girlfriends? Yes we are..Eternal girlfriends.. My fondest memories of you are in the fields when we would go gather flowers to dry to make arrangements for
our businesses...We had so much fun and you always wanted to make sure I had more "bunches" than you did at the end of the day. Patti this is for you...DO you remember the show we did when the customer asked about the Mommas Breath for Baby's Breath and asked where they could get some Ole Dock...we laughed about that for years. Melinda Sue Brown's first goal was to please her Lord, love her family unconditionally and give her best to them and love her friends. She was such an example to me and knew what her priorities were.
This is a song I have had for years and I want to make it my tribute to my wonderful friend, Sue Brown , because I knew your heart...and it was for your Lord. My God and I My God and I go in the field together
We walk and talk as good friends should and do
We clasp our hands, our voices ring with laughter
My God and I walk through the meadow's hue He tells me of the years that went before me
When heavenly plans were made for me to be
When all was but a dream of dim conception
To come to life, earth's verdant glory see My God and I will go for aye together
We'll talk and talk and jest as good friends do
This earth will pass, and with it common trifles But God and I will go unendingly This earth will pass, and with it common trifles
But God and I will go unendingly
