Obituary of Jackie L. Burton

Jackie Burton passed away on November 13, 2011 at age 59. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the service. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Gordon Lee and Brother Danny Sellars, is 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Interment in Wilson County Memorial. Pallbearers: Paul Nolan, Sanders Lackey, George Johnson, Henry Maynard, James Tipps, and Tony Elmore. Honorary Pallbearers: Bill Cannon, Johnny Broussard, Bill McNutt, John Davis, Joel Burnley, and the Upper Room Sunday School Class. Survivors include husband of 38 years, Phillip Burton; children: Robert Deryl (Sonya) Burton, Curtis (Susan) Burton, and Nicolle Anderson; grandchildren: Sam Burton, Abigail Burton, Delana Anderson,, Danica Anderson, Mandy Sue Burton, and Jacob Burton; brothers: Leonard (Martha) Tipps and Roy Wayne Tipps; uncle: Earl Darnell; sister-in-laws: Billie Jo Elmore and Bobbie Sue Maynard; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Jack and Nancy Foreman Darnell.
