Obituary of Morine Ramsey

Morine Ramsey passed away on May 6, 2013 at age 85. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the service on Wednesday. Funeral Services, conducted by Sister Linda Barnes, are 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Interment in Wilson County Memorial immediately following the service. Pallbearers: Jon Ayers, Bryan Graves, Harold Ayers, Dan Shaw, Gary Mason, Hunter Barbour, and Marvin Rowe. Special thanks: The Pavilion. Memorial Donations: The American Cancer Society. Mrs. Ramsey is survived by three children: Tommy (Lynne) Bowen, Carol Meadows, and Larry (Lorie) Blackburn; son-in-law: Harold Ayers; grandchildren: Dana (Gary) Mason, Melissa (Danny) Meadows, Shelley (Dan) Shaw, Jerry (Mary) Wallace, Angie (Bryan) Graves, Jon (Amy) Ayers, Kelsey Blackburn, and Katie Blackburn; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband Walter Earl Ramsey, daughter Brenda Ayers, parents Walter and Hattie Kerr Scott, and siblings Hazel Hunt, Mary Grisham, Gene Scott, Kenneth Scott.
