I would like to extend my condolences to the John's family. John and I have been friends since we were at Mt. Vernon Academy together. I am glad that John and I visited alot more often the last few years. He was a good freind and i will miss him.

It was a pleasure knowing John. We had a lot of good times in academy and I especially enjoyed seeing him at our 60th Birthday Bash in 2008. My prayers are with the family!

John and I grew up just around the corner from each other in Parkersburg and attended school together at PJA and Mount Vernon. I will always have fond memories of the good times we shared. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers are with John's family during this time of sorrow. I have fond memories of John from Mount Vernon Academy and forty years after graduation, had the pleasure of seeing him at our class reunion in 2006 and then briefly again in 2008. What a most wonderful day when we will be reunited with our family and loved ones and all the ills of this world are wiped away. Until then may God bless, keep and comfort you.

I have but fond memories of John and am thankful to have seen him in 2008 and am more thankful for the promise that we can meet again on a better shore. I am always comforted by these words: "The righteous perishes, and no man lays it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness." Isaiah 57:1,2

So sorry to hear of his passing. I worked with John several years ago as a nurse at Baptist Hospital. He was a great asset to the Respiratory Dept and a great friend. Thank you John for such fond memories. You will be missed. May God keep you in his arms now and hold you close to him. May God Bless and comfort your family at this time. My sincere condolences

It is so hard to hear of another loss to our great class. John, you are missed and thinking of you brings back many memories of our MVA time together. Glad you made it to several of our reunions and we are looking forward to the reunion in heaven. God bless your family and keep them safe.

I am so sorry to her of the loss of your husbnd Gail. I never had the chance to know him here on earth, but when we all get to heaven some day soon we will all get to meet. Please know that my prayers are with you and your whole family. I know the pain and loss you are feeling, for I loss my brother, Ken Eager in 2009. But remember: WE HAVE THIS HOPE THAT JESUS WILL BE COMING SOON AND VERY SOON! I believe that it will be in our lifetime, the signs are all there when we listen to the news.So take HOPE and never take your eyes off of Jesus! Remember He is HOLDING AND CARRYING YOU IN HIS ARMS!
