Obituary of Willena Rose Bruce

BRUCE, Willena Rose Frances, age 72 of Hermitage, passed away in her home on July 20, 2011. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret C. Peck (stepfather, Henry C. Peck) and her father, Mr. Bruce who died in 1954. She graduated from The Assumption School in 1953 and St. Cecilia Academy in 1957. She had four classmates that went through all twelve years of school together with her. She never married or had children, but was formally employed by several Nashville companies including C. B. Ragland and First American Bank. Her neighbors and St. Cecilia Academy friends will celebrate her life on Wednesday, August 24th at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5655 Clarksville Pike, Joelton, TN. Friends will gather at 10 am for visitation and a rosary. Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 am with Fr. John O'Neill officiating.
