Never having grandparents living closeby while growing up, it was so nice having "Grandpa" as an adopted grandparent. I won't forget that sweet smile! Many thoughts and prayers for "Granny", Connie, David, Ashley, Collin, and the rest of the family. Love you all.

Please accept my sincere sympathy for the loss of your dear patriarch. His quiet and kind presence will be missed but will remain forever in my memories and in the lives of others he touched. I met Mr. Gatlin around 1958 when his adoring daughter, Susan and I became instant and lifelong friends. I remember his enduring patience with two giggling girls in his car whether he was taking nine year olds to the skating rink or 15 year olds to football games. His gentle nature and easy laugh is a precious part of my childhood. I smile as I recall seeing Tom and Martha dancing at my parent's 65th anniversary party in 2009. There is peace and comfort in the knowledge that Tom is peacefully wrapped in the tender arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. My condolences for the loss felt by his loving family. My congratulations to Tom for a life well-lived. Much Love!
