Kathy, Jill, and Terry, So wishing to be there to celebrate the life of one who loved me like her own daughter. Your Dad and Mom were a HUGE part of my growing up years and included me in ALL your family activities, of which I am so very grateful. Vacations to Ocean City, MD, Kath's and my very favorite menu item "chicken in a basket," and seeing the ocean for the very first time are still vivid in my memory. A job relocation moving the Hocker family away from Derry Street was one of the biggest devastations of my young life, but the pain was eased by their providing a way for me to spend my summers with Kath. This huge hole left with Dot's passing will soon be filled and overflowing with the wonderful times and memories she created for me. She cared so much about her family and never forgot all the friends and neighbors who crossed her path. I take comfort that now she is with her Heavenly Father and experiencing the joys of Heaven. Kathy, Vic & family, Mrs. Dorothy has always been a very special lady that always had a smile on her face and has always been a very sweet lady. We are so sorry to hear of your loss and pray for you all during this time of loss. So sorry we missed the service due to vacation scheduling. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
