Obituary of John C. Kinzer
KINZER, John C. "Jack", age 91 of Lebanon passed away April 15, 2013. We celebrate the life of Jack Kinzer born March 28, 1922 in Versailles, KY. He was preceded in death by wife of 50 years, Margaret Bahr Kinzer. He is survived by his daughter, Jan Calvert; grandsons, Alec and Craig; great-grandchildren, Jack, Ben, and Margaret; son, Bahr (Stuart) Kinzer; and brother, Carlyle (Barbara) Kinzer. Jack proudly served his country as a member of the 35th Infantry Division in France and Germany during WWII. Following the war, he finished college and began his career managing Hereford Cattle Farms. He spent most of his career in Virginia. He was involved with the Fauquier 4H Livestock Show, the Ruritan Club and Leeds Episcopal Church. A service celebrating his life will be held at the Church of the Epiphany, Lebanon, TN on Friday, April 19th at 10 am, with visitation to follow.
