Obituary of Leroy Lee Haworth

HAWORTH, Leroy "Lee" Golden, age 76 passed away May 28, 2010. Mr. Haworth was preceded in death by father, Richard Golden Haworth; mother, Nellie Foster Haworth; brothers, Frank Haworth and Bill Haworth; sister, Rachel Edmiston; son, Michael Haworth; and great-granddaughter, Reagan Leathers. He is survived by wife of 42 years, Fran Haworth; daughters, Cindy Denny, Patricia (Chris) Delaney, and Debbie (Darryl) Derryberry; son, Eddie (Stephanie) Haworth; granddaughters, Kristi (Johnny) Leathers, Misty Senter, Wanda (Joey) Wilson and Shannon Derryberry; grandson, Andy Martin; great-grandchildren, Zoe Stout Haworth, Brodie Haworth, Lane Senter, Aadin Leathers, Kaitlyn, Kourtney, and Joseph Wilson; sisters, Florence Boland, Mary Hawn and Elsie Cook. Mr. Haworth was a well-known real estate broker/owner of Century 21 Haworth Homes in Hermitage for some 20 years before retiring. He was a US Navy Veteran and an avid golfer. He was a member of West Hills Baptist Church. Funeral services for Mr. Haworth will be held Sunday, May 30th at 2 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Jonas Taylor officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Franklin, TN with Andy Perry, Bubba Jenkins, Jack Bracey, Jack Stanfill, Jim Gilbert, Wallace Byron, Dan Hosse and Walter Ware serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are William Jones, Robert Nelson, Joe Miles, Ronnie Johnson, Ken Rigsby, Brian Lay, Rick Hardin, Chet Melvin and Brett Karstens. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, May 29th from 4-8 pm and 12 noon to 2 pm on Sunday, May 30th.
