Obituary of Ida Thelma Mofield
Ida Thelma Jenkins Mofield, a native of Mt. Juliet who has resided in the Flat Rock Community for the past eight years, passed away peacefully at 8 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Lebanon Rehabilitation and Health Care Center at the age of 86. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. Graveside Services, conducted by Brother Todd Elliott, are 1 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2013 at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Special Thanks: Dr. Bill Robertson, and the staff at University Medical Center, and Lebanon Rehabilitation and Health Care. She was preceded in death by husband Sam Thomas Mofield, parents Arrington and Carrie Lee (George) Jenkins, brothers Russell Jenkins and Raymond Jenkins, and sister Jessie Cawthon. Surviving is daughter Thelma Fadalhia (Mofield) Hall and husband Billy Hall of the Grant Community; two grandchildren: Ricky Hall and wife Candice of Hartsville, Cindy (Hall) Hix and husband Steve Hix of the Grant Community; four great-grandchildren: Lindsey Hall, Stetson Hall, Ethan Malone, and Eli Hix; two sisters: Margaret Smith and Geraldine Tomerlin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Lester and Nancy Mofield; brother-in-law: Harold Cowthon; sister-in-law: Jennitta Rutherford; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
