Joyce,
So sorry to hear about the passing of Waymon. My prayers are with you and your family. I have such great memories of Waymon. All the times he took me to the Huntsville Independence ball games and then to pizza hut afterwards was so much fun. He loved that baseball, not to mention Alabama football (RTR). I also remember all the camping trips to Mallard Creek. What a wonderful time that was. We always had so much fun. I will cherish all of my memories with all of you. Love you all. Jeff Klimek Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. 2Corinthians 1:3-5

Waymon was alway joking and just had a great attitude. I worked with him at the TVA and he was one intelligent guy. He was one of the best softball players and competitor I ever saw, he will be missed. Just a fine fellow.

Waymond was an inspiration to me as a man, and a softball player. I always enjoyed talking with him at firstbase. He almost always got a hit. He will be missed by all who knew him. God. bless all his family during this difficult time.

Waymon was my "boss" this year as we both did tax returns at the library. The crew he put together was so congenial, and Waymon was our "go to" person, even though most of us had years of experience also. He knew both the taxes and the tax program inside and out. He also knew most of the clientele, who came back year after year, and usually asked for him. If he couldn't work them in, then they would "settle" for one of the rest of us. Everyone loved and trusted him. He will be missed in so many ways! Joyce, and the rest of his family, my husband and I are so sorry for your loss. I know he is not suffering any longer, but the void in your lives will seem humongous for years to come. Hugs to you all!

Waymon will be missed. I will think of him each time I go onto the softball field, knowing how much he loved to play. No one played harder than Waymon.
