My sympathy to the Coats family! Brother Wayne was always a great friend and encourager of young preachers. He was encouraging to me going back all the way in high school in the early 80's. He's gone on to his reward.

Bro. Coats was.ike part of the Mullinsfamily as he handled my grandparents, aunt, 2 uncles and great grandmother's funerals. I know he was well thought of by my family. May the comfort of knowing he has gone to receive his great reward from God for spreading the gospel and standing for the truth heal your hearts.

I have known Brother Coats since I was 5 years old, 1965. I sat at his feet while he preached God's Word for many, many years. He baptized me in 1971 and performed by marriage in 1981. It was easily apparent he loved God's word and was a sincere Christlike man who lived the Christian life day after day even in the face of temendous suffering and pain. Brother Coats was always eager to give me advice when I needed it, because he was a man who was interesed in the saving of souls. He will be tremendously missed in this life and a valuable possession in the next.

Bro. Coats will be greatly missed. He was one of the greatest men I have ever known. His preaching will always be with me, "Are you listening?" My prayers are with the family whom I love dearly. I was twelve when baptized by him and he has always been in my heart. With sincere love, Carlene
