As a child I would ride my bike to her house in Cicero. We'd just talk about nothing and she would always feed me. Hungry or not.
She was just such a special woman. I'm sure with a special mansion in the sky.

My children and I shared many beautiful times with their great
grandmother. I deeply appreciated all she did for my children
and extend my regrets to all of her loved ones.

I'm so glad we got to reconnect several years back. I remember as a very young girl sitting in the floor next to her (my dad probably made me sit down to behave) and her patting me on the back, so lovingly. Telling me it was ok. And always telling me how sweet I was. I loved her.
