My dear brother, I miss you so much already. You were always there for me; all I had to do was pick up the phone, answered by that gentle voice, "Hi Sis" and you had the answer to my concerns. You were a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend and brother. I prayed so hard for your life,not wanting to accept that I can never hear your voice again. But I know that the Lord carefully took his arms and carried you home. You have joined our loved ones and we too, will join you by HIS will someday. I visualize you with the blue birds, what a sweet memory. I love you dearly!

Joan and family,
Regret that I/we cannot personally be there. Thankful for Facebook friends of the St.Paul's / Grace UMC community for letting me know. Fond memories of times, laughs and treasures of the past. So many great memories with Jerry, but the best one is when he gave me the name of "wicked witch" when I was chairman of the trustees at Church. Just because I made them work!! He was such a special person and definitely a servant of our Lord. The Sunday before he passed, I was leaving on a cruise the next day. He told me to remember that if the ship started to sink, just jump on my broom and fly away. He will be greatly missed. Joan, I pray healing for you and God's strength and courage. I know that you are in His wonderful, caring hands. I love you.
