Obituary of Gladys Walpole

WALPOLE, Gladys "Little Marie", age 95 of Mt. Juliet passed away October 14, 2010. Ms Walpole was preceded in death by parents, Burnice and Gracie Pearl Walpole; brothers, James Edward Walpole, John Walpole, Bernice "Botchie" Walpole, and Earl Franklin Walpole; sisters, Ella Tennessee Walpole Wilson and Beulah Walpole; special aunt, Augusta "Aunt Googie" Hardaway; sisters-in-law, Vera Green Walpole, Elizabeth Cowley Walpole, and Cora Reese Walpole; and brother-in-law, Bill Wilson. She is survived by brother, William E. Walpole; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she thought of as her children. Memorial service will be held Monday, October 18th at 6 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Chaplain Judy Gray officiating and Bro. John Green assisting. Honorary pallbearers: Dexter Walpole, Timothy Walpole, Tony Walpole, Samuel Walpole, William "Jack" Walpole, Howard Walpole, Wayne Walpole, and Kenneth Walpole Visitation with the family will be Monday, October 18th from 4-6 pm.
