Paul said: I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. (Phillipians 3:14) Belle run the race and has finished well. Prayers for you all. May the peace of God that passes all understand be yours in the days ahead. May His grace be sufficient to carry you through.

Belle loved to talk about her family and friends and stuff from the past. It would crack me up, the way she could spin a tale with that slow Southern drawl. I love to try to imitate her speech. Of course, she's swear I sounded nothing like her, but said I was getting a "right fine" accent, just the same. One day we were coming home from work and talking about family and the exploits some of them did and she remarked that one of her relatives did something and got "drunker than Cootie Brown." I'd heard of this Cootie Brown ever since moving to TN from CA, so I asked her, "Just who is this Cootie Brown everyone out here keeps talking about/" Without batting an eyelash, she replied, "Well, I don't rightly know. Some drunk, I guess." Then she smiled that way she did when she was joking and we burst out laughing. Belle's humor could surprise you, but it was great. Work was stressful to her, but she plugged away. I am sure going to miss her.

To all of Belle's brothers, sisters, all her family members and very close friends. I pray that God grant you peace and comfort as you endure the next few days and still even at time when you remember her absence in this world. Belle was one of the funniest people that I know. Growing up together in Hopewell was the best, we were pretty much inseparable as children. We laughed, we cried, we fought, we made mud pies. We may have even eaten one or two. No one in this life will ever come close to replacing your unique person. See you later Belle!!!!

We have such good memories of Belle when we lived down there. Mama remembers her as a little girl, but I remember her when she was grown. I love hanging out at Elizabeth's when I was little, and it was always an extra special treat when Belle was there! Our hearts go out to Hope and all the family, we will be praying for peace and understanding for all of you. Love, Kathy and Ernestine

I remember the 1st day I started to work and meet everyone I saw a crocheted sign that said Jesus on it on Belles desk. She was a wonderful lady and very thoughtful especially of children. Will miss her and thoughts and prayers go out to her family. Take comfort in the song I've got a home in glory land as that is where she is.
Love Renee
