My sincere condolences to the family during this time of loss. I am very saddened today to learn of her passing. Jerry was a dear friend in elementary school and carried on till she left school. I miss seeing her at class reunions which she did attend one that I particularly remember. She was a beautiful person and will be missed. I haven't seen her for many years but I have never forgotten her and never will.

Gerri was a beloved niece of my mother, her Aunt Elva. Uncle Gerald (mom's brother), Aunt Mary and Gerri came to Denver on their way to the family reunion in Utah every couple of years when I was a kid. They were wonderful people, and Uncle Gerald was one of my favorites! Gerri was too young to pass...I'm so sorry for all her loved ones, her sons Billy and Toby, and her dear grandchildren, too.

I loved her like a sister and best friend. She was there holding my hand thru a time of sickness, death and troubles. She was my prayer partner and God blessed her in many ways. as He has blessed me just by knowing her.She was very active in the long Prairie Baptist Church and we missed her when she moved back to Tennessee.I pray that God gives you comfort in this time of sorrow and may you rejoice in your hearts knowing she is with our Lord and Savior.May god bless each one of you . With Love Pat

I haven't seen Gerri since the 1970's. My dad bought a horse for me when I was 14. We knew nothing about horses but boarded her at Horris Hamblen's farm next door to the Suggs Creek riding club. There was a gate in between the farms and Gerri invited me over to ride in the ring any time. The first time I went over there, my horse almost collapsed. Gerri told me she was starved to death and told us what kind of food to get and how to take care of her. She taught me how to ride and and I will never forget her. What a beautiful lady she was. I remember Daddy talking to Bill Clark many times and I played with his dog Ringo. I also remember Billy and Toby, and going to the horse shows on Saturday night. It was sad to see the land developed, but made me smile to see one of the roads named Toby Trail. I will never forget Gerri. Sending prayers for the family during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to learn of Jerry's passing. We went to school together. I have fond memories of "slumber parties" in her home. I remember her as always smiling and happy. One of my memories of her was at Horn Springs swimming pool. She had her two little boys with her. Some of us were acting silly and we were chasing each other and clowning around. Those two little boys, Billy and Toby, were so protective of her. When they rushed to her defense she had to explain to them that everyone was friends and that we were just playing around and having a good time. We were teenagers at the time so the boys were very young. I am sad that I was not at the class reunion that she attended in recent years. I would have loved to have seen and visited with her just one more time. Jerry was a special person and I mourn her passing with her family and friends. My sincere sympathy to all of you!
