Obituary of Glenn Allen Kemp

KEMP, Sr., Glenn, age 92 of Mt. Juliet passed away January 30, 2015. He was on the motorcycle patrol with the THP, a member of the Confederate Air Force, an accomplished pilot and a member of the Central Pike church of Christ. Mr. Kemp was preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Dexter Kemp; and daughter, Elaine Scoby. He is survived by wife of 72 years, Frances Kemp; children, Glenn Allen (Sandy) Kemp and Peggy (Mike) Buford; grandchildren, Billy (Michelle) Scoby, Kimberly (Scott) Howard, Kristy (Jay) Woodard, Alison (Brian) Hensley and John (Chelsea) Buford; and great-grandchildren, Max, Jake, Dakota and Trey Scoby and Hannah and Heather Woodard. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 3rd at 2pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. John Miller and Bro. Vernon Russell officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with his grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, February 3rd 11am until time of service.
