Obituary of Russell Roy Shallahamer

SHALLAHAMER, II, Russell "Russ", age 60 of Mt. Juliet passed away August 27, 2011. Mr. Shallahamer was employed by Bridgestone/Firestone for 36 years. He was preceded in death by parents, Russell and Mary Shallahamer; and father-in-law, Mike Yukie. Mr. Shallahamer is survived by his wife of 31 years, Yvonne Shallahamer; son, Jason (Beth) Shallahamer; daughters, Tanya (Steve) Carden, Melanie (Patrick) Murphy and Melissa Ronches; brothers, John (Pat) Shallahamer and Gary (Linda) Hysell; sister, Kathleen (Stan) Miller; sister-in-law, Angie Johnson; mother-in-law, Barbara Yukie; grandchildren, Ava Shallahamer, Kara Carden, Mark Murphy and Sofia Murphy; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31st at 6pm at Madison Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Ken Carden officiating. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to the service at the church.
