Obituary of Guilford Ronald Womack

WOMACK, Guilford Ronald "Ron", age 75 of Old Hickory passed away March 3, 2011. Mr. Womack was a wonderful, giving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed building miniature doll houses and adding all the intricate details. Mr. Womack was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Elizabeth Womack; brothers, Ellis Womack and Thomas Womack; and grandson, Josh Carmack. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gloria Womack; daughter, Karen (Dan) Carmack; sons, Skip (Marion) Womack and Eric (Kari) Womack; grandchildren, Kendal (Jason) Franklin, Ashley Carmack, Lauren Womack, Kolby Womack, and Kayce Womack; great-grandchildren, Maddux Franklin and Isabella Franklin; and numerous relatives and special friends. Because of Mr. Womack's great love of animals, memorial contributions may be made to: Friends of Hannah, c/o Hairy Moose Pet Retreat, 123 Big Station Camp Blvd, Gallatin, TN 37066. Memorial contributions may also be made to: St. Philips Episcopal Church, 85 Fairway Drive, Nashville, TN 37214. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 12th at 2 pm at St. Philips Episcopal Church. A reception will follow the service at the church.
