Obituary of John Wesley Hamblen

HAMBLEN, John, age 89 of Mt. Juliet passed away January 23, 2015. Preceded in death by wife, Eudine Binion Hamblen; parents, Terry and Lois Hamblen; sisters, Mary Clark and Corrine Gilbert; and brother, Boot Hamblen. Survived by sons, James "Jim" (Wendy) Hamblen and Wayne (Diane) Hamblen; daughter, Jean Veach; grandchildren, James Hamblen, Timothy Hamblen, Christy (James) Jamison, Billy Hamblen, Shandra (Rick) Mixey, Christopher Hamblen, K. C. Veach and James Veach; 10 great-grandchilren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 27th at 1 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Rev. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will follow the service at Rutland Cemetery with Billy Hamblen, Christopher Hamblen, Timmy Hamblen, Jimmy Hamblen, Kenneth Veach, Jacob Hamblen and James Veach serving as pallbearers.
