Obituary of John W. Shelton

SHELTON, John W., age 74 of Mt. Juliet passed away May 22, 2013.Mr. Shelton was a SCAN volunteer for 12 years. Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Gray and Carl Dewitt Shelton; and brother, James Shelton. He is survived by wife, Martha Alexander Shelton; son, Ronnie Shelton; step-children, Glenda (Wayne) Weaver, Beverly (Larry) Casey, Elaine (Rick) James and Jimmy (Patricia) Hollis; brother-in-law, George Alexander; and step-grandchildren, Stacey and Christy Hollis. The family would like to thank Mt. Juliet Health Care and Quality Health Care. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25th at 10am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Danny Sellars and Rev. Fred Vantrease officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 23rd from 4-8 pm, Friday, May 24th from 4-8 pm and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home at Mt.
