According to Tom Brokaw, author of "The Greatest Generation", "when the US entered World War 11, the US turned to ordinary Americans and asked of them extraordinary service, sacrifice and heroics". The lives of Mr. Billy and Mrs. Mary Helen Burch epitomizes the very best of "The Greatest Generation" this nation had to offer. Heaven is undoubtedly enriched by their presence. My husband and I were able to get to know "Mr. Billy and Mrs. Helen" through enjoying communion together at their home. We are thankful for their friendship and all the wonderful stories that Mr. Billy and Mrs. Helen shared with us. The lives they touched will be forever changed by their wonderful presence. Their family is in our prayers.
