Jerald is One of the Best Men I have ever met in my life time. Jerald & Pat always treated me like family, I use to love to go to there house with Muchie and eat, always meant so much to me, he will be missed, God's Speed, and God Bless...

Jerald - "Bigfoot" to his Corps of Engineers friends - leaves a lasting legacy of his work developing and maintaing parks and campgrounds around Old Hickory Lake for people to enjoy. Among his talents, he was a good teacher, great heavy equipment operator, and quite the Christmas breakfast cook teaching this city-girl about red-eye gravy. He will be dearly missed. My prayers are with the family.

Papa was a great man who would do anything for anyone. He will be missed by many. He was the kind of person you could go talk to about anything. He loved his family with everything he was. All of my childhood memories of him was me climbin up in this lap giving him a hug and a kiss and sneaking into his shirt pocket to get out a piece of his gum that he always had. Or everytime I walking into the room he would have the biggest smile on his face and call out "POOBEAR" as long as I can remember that is all that he ever called me and he gave me my name when I was born and I will always be his PooBear....... I LOVE YOU PAPA! I miss you so much! You was the best grandfather and great grandfather me and my son could have ever asked for!!!!!!!!!!!
