Obituary of Townes Katie Pearl

Katie Townes passed away on June 2, 2009 at age 77. The family will be accepting friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon on Friday, June 5, 2009 from 3-8 p.m. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Mt. Juliet Church of God. Visitation at the church is from 10 a.m. until service. Interment in Spring Hill Cemetery, Madison TN. Grandchildren, Ted Floyd and Larry Alderman will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers: Charlie Huff, Don "Rooster" Greene, Jim Bishop, Charles West, and the Mt. Juliet Church of God Senior Sunday School Class. Survivors include husband of 18 years, Johnny Townes; sons: James (Patricia) Johnson and Wayne (Ruby) Johnson; siblings: Louise (Ernest) Burnett, Joe (Sara) Edmondson, Margaret (Jim) Bailey, and William Edmondson; grandchildren: Jessie Johnson, David Johnson, Kari (Jordan) Affourtit, and Kyle Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by son Timmy Johnson, first husband Russell H.
