I've known Chuck for about 17 yrs now and every time I saw him he always had a smile on his face and great story to tell... I enjoyed watching him and Monroe pick a guitar and sing a tune together.. It Was Very Amusing!! He is in a much better place, he is with his mother, Evelyn, and will be looking down, watching over us all.. Knowing Chuck the short time I have, I think he would want everyone to celebrate his life and share the great memories we all have of him.. Chuck, Rest In Peace and know that you are missed dearly by me and all that you have blessed with your kindness and warmth...

I met Uncle Chuck in 1985 when I joined his extended family. Though distance kept us from seeing him often I can say that there was never a dull moment when we would get together. We cherish all the time we had with you and will miss you dearly. R.I.P. Uncle Chuck.

My heart is broken. I will miss my Uncle Chuck. I grew up playing with him, and remember him making me a tunnel to crawl through using Grandma's TV trays. But he stuck The Joker mask in it and scared me which made the trays go flying everywhere. Grandma came running in there yelling at both of us, but it was funny. That had to have been 40 years ago and I remember a lot of fun times. Chuck had a heart of gold, he just had an illness he could not overcome. We may have been frustrated at him at times, but never once did anyone not love him. He loved his family, all of his nieces and nephews and now I would give anything to tell him one more time... I love you. Someday we will see each other again, but for now you are in God's hands. Tell Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad & Kim hi for me. Love always, your niece Karen

Today, your body will be laid to rest with those your soul already resides. I will miss you terribly, your smile, your jokes, your laughter, and most of all that beautiful singing voice I remember so well. I can remember so clearly us at Grandma's house in the utility room - you singing The Beatles, and me being completely in awe of you! You were the "baby" of the family - Grandma's little boy, spoiled rotten for sure! A great Uncle to your nephews, the rough housing and wrestling as you let them crawl all over you, punching you. You picking them up by their ears and them screaming for Grandma to come and help them....I'm smiling ear to ear with those memories. You are now with those who loved you more than words can say. I will miss you greatly, and will see you again on the other side, Chuck - I LOVE YOU! And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree
There will be an answer, let it be
For though they may be parted
There is still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be

To the 5-Star General of the Rock Soldier Army…My child-hood Hero! Uncle Chuck, I never told you this but you were a bigger influence on me than you’ll ever know. As a kid, I always looked up to you and wanted to be just like you! When Mom wanted to get me to eat something I didn’t like, she’d always say…”If you want to get big muscles like your Uncle Chuck, you need to eat your ______.” A multi-talented musician with an incredible voice, you were also a big reason why I wanted to start playing the drums. You even set up my very first drum-set for me that I got for Christmas when I was 12 years old! Like Kelly, I too remember vividly…sitting in Grandma’s utility room as you played the piano and sang The Beatles, The Eagles, and other songs for us. We were all just amazed and in awe of our Uncle Chuck!! And like cousin Allan mentioned previously, it always seemed like we were waiting on you! The party never quite started until you got there and you were always the main attraction…always showing up with a pretty girl on your arm and making people laugh with your stories and crazy antics. It hurts knowing you’re gone but I also know that you are finally at peace and still surrounded by those that love you. I know it was a joyous reunion…up there alongside Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, & Kim. And while your passing does leave an empty feeling inside, I also feel like a part of you still lives in each of us that knew you.

Some of my favorite memories of my Uncle Chuck: • You playing the Ukulele and singing “Princess Victoria” outside Aunt Vicki’s bedroom window.
• You mowing trails in the yard for me and my sisters to ride our tricycles/bicycles.
• Having you “Make a muscle” for me so I could swing from your biceps when I was little.
• You and Big “O” coming home from school and you beating the crap out of me to show him “how tough” I was….and me loving every minute of it!
• You routinely picking me up by my ears and banging my head off the low ceiling in Grandma’s kitchen.
• Picking the lock on your bedroom door because you were sleeping late, knowing it would result in a near death experience…only because I was bored out of my mind at Grandma’s house.
• Riding around back-roads with Allan, knocking back a few cold “roadies” as Grandma and/or Vicki continuously calls us wondering “where are y’all?”
• Catching Aunt Vicki’s back-porch on fire when I ankle-picked you and you knocked over the citronella candle.
• Riding a Harley for the very first time with you & Kay that Memorial Day weekend.
• Showing you the effectiveness of a rear-naked choke in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. 
