What a wonderful wife, mom, and grandma Candy must have been. We were classmates at St. Cecilia's. Please know you're in my thoughts these days, as is Candy and my good memories of her. I know she'll be with you always.

Dear Gary & Family,
Although you will also be hearing from me personally, I wanted to add my condolences to Candy's guest book. She was much loved by her classmates (St. Cecilia grammar school, Class of 1960), and certainly will not be forgotten.

As we get older, those we knew when we were younger become more important. Candace and I have shared a few e-mails most recently and she has and will continue to be in my prayers. We will pause in tribute to her as a class at our dinner this October. May you take comfort in the fact that there are many who she touched and in whose prayers she remains.

Candy was a fun classmate at St Ceclia's school while we were growning up. She grew up to become a real CLASS ACT LADY. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hugs to all. *** SHE IS GONE *** You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she’ll come back or you can open your eyes and see all she’s left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her and only that she’s gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she’d want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on. David Harkins, © 1981

Dear Gary, John, Gina and family, This comes to you with much love and deep compassion as you continue coping the loss of your beloved Candy. We cannot imagine how many lives she touched but remember so well and fondly the place she held in our hearts. We will never forget how warm, wonderful and welcome she and Gary made us feel upon our first visit to Cookson Air Park 10yrs ago...they nourished a loving environment within this community that fostered our love and purchase of lots there. We knew and felt their combined interests, loving spirits and authentic concern for others...Candy's incredible smile, beautiful home/gardens, delicious food, aviation and musical talents combined will create many sweet memories for us...we trust that her incredible life gifts, talents and joys will comfort you often and fondly..we are grateful for our time with her and that we were able to enjoy and sample just some of your "sweet Candy".....much love and comfort to all Carolyn and Bob Watts Belle Cahoon (Carolyns mom)
