I send my deepest sympathy to Donna, his Son & Daughter, and to Amanda.
Bill and I were married in June of 1980, at Olive Branch United Methodist Church
in Amelia, Ohio. I was Bill's 3rd. wife. I was close to Jimmie, and he and Charlene
would remember me. Bill and I have a daughter, named Erica , and Bill has three
beautiful Grand- Daughters, Jordyn, Lexus & Hannah by Erica. Bill left the area
before he knew about Erica. I hope someone will e-mail me and tell me what
took Bill's life. It is very ironic that Bill & I both left Ohio at different times in our life, and ended up in Tennessee, not that far from each other. Bill was a good soul, I hope he lived out a lot of happiness . I am a R.N. and work at a local hospital . Erica his daughter is married, and is a Nurse Practitioner with her own
practice here in Murfreesboro. God Bless To Everyone.

Bill and I met in Asheville, NC in 1987. I was working at Hardee's and it happened to be his and a couple of his trusted friends' hang out spot - where they'd drink coffee after coffee and shoot the breeze while teasing yet looking out for the employees who worked the evening shift. After a couple of months of him flirting with me when he saw me on the job, he asked me out. Smart man that he was, told me a fib when I asked him how old he was ( he knew if I realized he was 17 years older than me, I'd run the other way) I went out with him, we walked a good five miles to Wendy's. Believe it or not, we had one that had a pasta bar in it. Then he took me to a movie (never could remember what movie we saw that night) We never spent another night apart for the next nine months until - ironically enough - the day before our wedding. He asked me to move in with him that first night we dated - and we built our relationship from there. So, in the case of the age old question "Would you kiss on the first date -- I'd have to say -- Oh, Yeah!" Bill used to tell me I was beautiful. He called me his 'foxy lady" - even bought me a keychain with a fox on it. I would tell him he was blind and that if he was willing to get serious a 4th time; then he must be seriously in love - or I was just plain crazy. Obviously, I settled in with believing Bill was seriously in love. I know I was. We married as soon as my family could be there for the event - Sept 25, 1988. Our beautiful daughter, Janet came into this world nine months and 5 days later. 16 months later, our beloved son, Christopher was born. Nearly 20 turbulant mixed with good years later, we lost Bill to not one cancer but two combined. On may 16th, 2008, he was diagnosed with Esphogeal and stomach cancers.

Dearest Bill: As we approach the 5th Anniversary of your passing, I leave this flower - as a token that what we had together has not been forgotten - an neither have you. You are still very much loved and dearly missed.
