Obituary of Willie Eugene Cox

Gene Cox passed away on April 30, 2012 at age 84. He retired as a Maintenance Supervisor for Cedars of Lebanon State Park. The chapel service, conducted by Reverend Danny Sellars, is 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon. Visitation is on Wednesday from noon until the service. Interment in Vesta Cemetery. Pallbearers: James Martin Edwards, Odell Oliver, Keith Morris, Tony Caulder, Mikey McClain, and Cain Barrett. Honorary Pallbearers: Bobby Reynolds and Franklin Christian, and Bobby McCrary. Survivors include daughter Sherry (David) Vaughn; grandchildren: Tracy Ward, Ashley Caulder, Chad Locke, Amber Vaughn, and Zack Vaughn; great-grandchildren: Brittany Ward, Jordan Stafford, Brook Douglas, and Makayla Thompson; and great-great-grandchild: Kyleigh Douglas. He is preceded in death by wife Cora Lannom Cox, daughter Sandra Caulder, parents Willie Otis and Bertha McCrary Cox, brother Claude Cox, sister Earlene Cox
