Obituary of Sue Ella Vaughn

Sue Vaughn passed away on June 17, 2014 at age 97. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday from noon until the service. The Funeral Service, conducted by Pastor James Gill and Pastor Dan Ruffin, is 2 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home. Interment in Wilson County Memorial. Pallbearers: Marty Bentley, Micky Bentley, Ben Wills, David Montgomery, Gil Jackson, Tony McFalls, Bill Bentley, and Toby Bates. The family extends a special thank you to Elmcroft, Quality Health Care, and Gentiva Hospice. Mrs. Vaughn is survived by son: Robert "Bobby" (Linda) Vaughn; son-in-law: Bill Bentley; sister: Elsie Haake; grandchildren: Cheryl (Toby) Bates, Christy (Ben) Wills, Micky (Ann) Bentley, and Marty (Rhea Anne) Bentley; great-grandchildren: Scott Bentley, Steven Bentley, and Ryan Bentley, Jessica (Hunter) Hayden, Emilie Bentley, Carson Bates, Callie Bates, Eli Wills, and Eden Wills; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband Carson Vaughn, daughter Laura Bentley, parents Cleveland Burton and Lela Gibbs Burton, and siblings Clifton, Calvin, Ray, and G.C. Burton, and Christine Staich.
