Obituary of Viva Jean Gass

WILSON COUNTY GASS, Viva Jean, age 81 of Mt. Juliet passed away January 16, 2009. Mrs. Gass was preceded in death by parents, John and Leatha Floyd; sons, Wayne Gass and Danny Gass. She is survived by husband of 63 years, Cecil Gass; daughter, Diana Carter; daughter-in-law, Nancy Gass; brother, George Floyd; nephew, Richard Floyd; grandchildren, Michael Gass, Tony (Danielle) Gass, Patty Welch, Shane Carter, Sam Carter, and Stephen Gass; and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Gass will be Sunday, January 18th at 2 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Clay Faircloth officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Michael Gass, Tony Gass, Shane Gass, and Sam Carter, Melvin Agee, and Kenneth Honeycutt serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Enayat's office and staff.
