Obituary of Pauline Gulley Cox

Pauline Cox, of Columbia TN, passed away on December 1, 2009 at age 83. She was born in Jackson County TN to Walter and Ivy Fann Gulley. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2009 and 11 a.m. until service on Friday. The chapel service is 2 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2009. Interment in Dixon Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers: Scott and Chad Mitchell, Nathan Vinson, Anthony and Phillip Gulley, and Greg Atnip. Memorial contributions: Waycross Church of Christ (111 Flat Ridge Rd, Goodlettsville TN 37072, 615.285.0105). Survivors include husband Thomas M. Cox; 2 sons: Jimmy (Patty) Mitchell of Murfreesboro and Chris Cox of Columbia; step-son: James (Paula) Cox of Columbia; 3 daughters: Pat (Danny) Wells and Penny Sorrell, both of Lebanon, and Jenny (Delmaine) Vinson of Mt. Sterling KY; brother: Johnny Gulley; sister: Margaret Vibbart; 12 grandchildren: Scott Mitchell, Dana Mitchell, Chad Mitchell, Kristin Vinson, Nathan Vinson, Wendy Sorrell, Cameron Sorrell, Lauran Cox, Christina Cox, Mike Cox, Chad Cox, and David Cox; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 special friends: Mary Ann Fry and Janet Lindsey. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, and two brothers, Glen and Clay Gulley.
