Bruce my friend/kin; you will be greatly missed and we will always remember the visit we had at your home & the fine meal you & Mryia took us to.

Hey Will ... Marc Oswald here ..... Beau, Aly, Leila, Krista, and I are all very sad about what happened to your dad .... what a cool dude ... Bruce and I rode Harley's together a couple weeks ago and had a great time hanging out ... this is such a mystery to me and all of us .... bottom line, we love and respect your dad and we stand by as neighbors & friends to assist in any way possible .... nothing about this is good .... but you need to hang in there and trust the people closest to you ..... hang in there Will .... Bruce was a wonderful person.He had the most beautiful smile of anyone I know. He sat with me on the school bus everyday until they moved.I last saw him at his brother's funeral.Still the same Bruce.Sweet

Will & Elijah,
I am one of Bruce's first cousins & near your Aunt Diane's age. It was good to see you as we honored the memory of Bruce. Bruce was not able to come to the Gibson reunions we had in Montgomery, but each time I invited him to come he insisted on paying for the meal. He was always so generous. I loved his "Elvis" voice. I hope to see Will at Aburn...we are big Auburn fans...my husband & son both graduated from Auburn. I did not know until the funeral that Bruce was an avid War Eagle fan.

Elijah, Will & Family: I was so very sad to hear of this loss... It hit me very hard, as I remember Bruce and Myra both as if they were my own family... It's been almost a year since my best friend decided to leave this earth. So many things happened in our lives that we shared and there are only memories left now. Fun, excitement, trips, and just good ol' friendship. Careers, marriages and divorces. Good Health and the bad too. Old age finally started catching up. We could always talk, man to man, nothing to hide and lot's to share. You can't be replaced. I think of you all the time and remember all the things that we have done and shared together, from the first time that we met in 1979 until we talked last in December 2011. I miss my best friend. Bruce was a great man. Very understanding and giving he sponsored my step sons football team when no one else would. He will be deeply missed. His family, friends and employees are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bruce was one of the greatest guy's I personally had ever met. He and Myra were a super couple and those types of couple are the exception not the rule. Bruce was always a fair and just person to me and my family. He will truely be missed by all theat knew him. Will and Elijah are in our prayers and we hope you can find solace in the fact they are maybe together again now.
