Obituary of Lewis Richard Adkins

Richard Adkins passed away on January 21, 2013 at age 66. He was a veteran of the US Army, worked for Le-al-co, was a supervisor for the Garment Factory (Lebanon Jeans), and for Lebanon Disposal, and was a girls' softball coach. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the service. The Funeral Service, conducted by Pastor Owen Powell, is 1 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013. Interment in Hillview Cemetery. Pallbearers: Farion Mofield, Ricky Mofield, Michael Adkins, Mike Hawkes, Dwayne Garner, and James Pierce. Honorary Pallbearers: Anthony Primm, Lucas Adkins, Scott Pierce, and Heath Pierce. Survivors include children: Angela Hornsby, David (Janine) Adkins, Anita Moore, and Selena Miller; step-son: Dwayne Garner; honorary sons: Farion Mofield and Richard Mofield; grandchildren: DeAnna Hornsby, Lacee Hornsby, Anthony Primm, Chase Moore, Corey Garner, Courtney Garner, Carrie Garner, Cassie Garner, Callie Garner, and Cammie Garner; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Virgil and Corrine Pittman Adkins, brothers Paul Adkins, Robert Adkins, Homer Adkins, and sister Catherine Adkins.
