Obituary of John Meriwether

John "Jack" Meriwether, retired U.S. Air Force, passed away on May 10, 2014 at age 84. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. The Private Funeral Service will be held at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Meriwether is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mai Dean Tillman Meriwether; daughter: Jacque (Jim) Huckaby of Lebanon; son: Ken (Vicki) Meriwether of Grand Prairie TX; grandchildren: Jake (Kristi) Huckaby, Sarah (Brent) Bixenman, Annie (Todd) Ewing, Leaha (Javiar) Anquiano, and Faith (Cameron) Grant; great-grandchildren: Paige, Riese, and Jackson Huckaby, Brody and Lilia Bixenman, Jeremiah and Kyra Ewing, Maddison and Luke Anquiano, and Kylie Grant; brother: Reverend Jim (Ann) Meriwether; and sister: Jane Wilson. He is preceded in death by parents Luke Allen and Sarah Stansell Meriwether, sister Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Moore, and brother-n-law Robert Wilson.
