Obituary of David Russell Scott

David Scott, age 58, passed away peacefully at his residence on August 13, 2010. He was a commercial contractor in his professional life and in his personal life, gave to the community as an active member of the AA Fellowship, was an avid fisherman, devoted loving husband and father who loved his wife and son with his whole being. He was a courageous man who bravely and successfully battled cancer. He is loved and missed by all. The Celebration of Life is 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010. The family will begin receiving friends from 5 p.m. until the Celebration on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to his trust fund at Wilson Bank and Trust. Survivors include wife Melissa Pleier Scott; son: Zachary David Scott; parents: Milton Parker and Norma "Peggy" Navarro Miller Scott; two brothers: twin Daniel (Betty) Scott and Reid (Brenda) Scott; and many nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly and will miss their "cool Uncle David".
