Obituary of Christine Morton Nelson

Nelson, Christine Morton passed away on August 31, 2014 from pancreatic cancer. Originally from New Jersey, Chris was a devoted wife and mother, as well as a talented artist with a fondness for interior design. She outlived even the most optimistic projections, and the tenacity and determination with which she faced her illness was an inspiration to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Donald Nelson of Lebanon, TN, sons Scott Nelson (Betsy) of Hermitage, TN and Jeffrey Nelson (Amanda) of Nashville, TN, and sisters Bernadine Wonderlin of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Joan Bicker of Southampton, NJ. The family wishes to thank the staffs of Tennessee Oncology, University Medical Center Lebanon, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Gentiva Health Services, and Caregivers by WholeCare. A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 20, 2014 at 3 pm at Sellars Funeral Home, 313 W. Baddour Pkwy. Lebanon TN 37087.
