Obituary of Dovie Mae Marek

Dovie "Granny" Marek passed away on July 31, 2014 at age 88. She had been involved with bowling, playing and teaching, for over 50 years. Sellars Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Graveside Service, conducted by Brother Gary Wilson, is 1 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2014 at Bethlehem Cemetery. Family will serve as Pallbearers. Mrs. Marek is survived by children: Joyce (Roland) Fanning, Pat (Ellis) Bryant, Claudine Atkins, and Alvin Marek; sisters: Margaret Ann (Mark) Bigsby and Sara (Cecil) Silcox; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by parents Claude and Elizabeth Corley Taylor.
