The Nolan family/friends have guided us through this journey of life with them. I have learned to hug my family and friends tighter, smile more often, and show gratitude to others at every opportunity. Thank you for not only sharing this experience with us, but showing us how to live it with grace, dignity, love, and Faith. Many blessings to you all.

I will always remember the smiles and laughter of Tony and his sweet girls as I dropped my kiddos off at daycare in the mornings. It would always make me smile to see Romie in one arm and Cordy in the other...giggling with daddy. The smile on Tony's face glowed with the overflow of love he had for his girls! “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.” John 14:1-3

Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift. May we all remember, drink from our long stemmed glasses, dine with your finest dinnerware, celebrate every day we are given with those we love and meet. Cherish the small moments, they are the ones that count. God bless you Leila, Romie, Cordy, and all the family. May you find peace in your hearts. He will be missed. Love you.

Leila, I am heart broken. My time knowing him was short, but he made an impact on me. He was tired of waiting, yet I knew he would get a heart soon. I feel as if I gave him a false hope. As a heart transplant patient myself, you want the best for all your "friends" because we all share something in common that very few people can relate to. I just have to remember that God has a plan for all of us. He needed Tony as an Angel, to watch over you and the girls. My you find peace and comfort knowing that he is no longer in pain, he will not suffer any more. I will continue to pray for your family.

I am deeply saddened by Tony's passing... Just as everyone else, I was expecting another miracle... Not just for Tony.. but for Leila and his girls.. There are no words that we as friends can say that will take away the feeling of loss.. no hug or kind word can comfort the emptiness you feel.. but please know, Tony has not left you incomplete... You carry him with you each and every day.. in your heart and in your memories.. His spark and his smiles will be ever present in Romie and Cordy and he will continue to live through each of you! With Love and Prayers, Kelly Swaim

Memories of our time with Tony at the DZ, both SSM and Dallas, will stay in our hearts forever. He was one of a kind with an infectious smile and we will miss him dearly! Later, seeing him settled down with Leila and the girls was so special - what a wonderful husband and father! There's no doubt that Tony is looking down from the heavens above and watching out over his girls! Our thoughts and prayers are definitely with you and the girls during this difficult time, Leila. Just remember, the Nolan Girls are strong and you will get through it! God Bless you Leila, Romie and Cordie and may you some day find peace in all of this.

God allowed a ray of sunshine to light up my life, his name was Tony. he brought a smile to my face and joy to my heart. I loved watching him with his family as he proudly watched over his daughters as they grew. I enjoyed seeing the love on his face as he watched his wife. There are people placed in our lives to let us know there is a God in heaven and that he loves us. Tony was one of those people and I will always be thankful to God for allowing Tony to be part of my life....

Tony was a friend who I admired greatly and was lucky enough to skydive with. I trusted him implicitly in the air without worry. He was always locked in, head's up, consistent and solid. And he was an outstanding camera flyer - respected and sought after in the skydiving community for his ability. He made it look easy. Great flyer. More than that, just a good fellow. A good guy. Nice guy. A great laugh. Smart man. Truly, One of the Best. My sincere condolences to Tony's Family. Losing a man as good as Tony is awful sad and I will miss him. Blues Skies, Tony - Skydivers will be singing Hymns.

I was his physical therapist for the last 3 months and Tony was a very special person. His motivation and emotional strength were amazing. He was one of the hardest working patients I have ever had and never gave up. Leila, his father, Jason and the girls were the best cheerleaders a man could ask for. Throughout our time together, I just hoped I was able to help Tony and touch his life, however, it has been just the opposite. Tony and his family have touched my life. Many people have said to me "you shouldn't get so attached to you patients". But, my life would have never been the same not knowing Tony and his family. This heartbreak and sadness will pass, but Tony's memory will go on. I will never forget him. And, Leila, I will never forget you. You have shown me true strength and what it is to be strong for your family. Even though you were probably breaking on the inside, you were always positive and strong in front of Tony and the girls. Please know that I will always be here for you and the girls. Call me anytime. It was an honor treating Tony and I wouldn't change his friendship for the world!

I cannot begin to understand the pain you and your family are going through at this time. I have followed your fight on FB, and no one could have fought harder -- both you and your husband. I hope you find peace knowing that you did everything you could do, and so did he. You and your family have impacted other families in ways you probably don't know at this point. If there's anything I can ever do for you, please let me know. Marilyn

“So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their views; and demand that they respect yours. Love your LIFE; perfect your LIFE; beautify all things in your LIFE; Seek to make your LIFE long and its purpose in the service of your people, [AND] Prepare a noble death song - for the day when you go over the great divide. Always give a [KIND] word - or a sign of salute - when meeting or passing a friend, [or] even a stranger, when [TRAVELING] in a lonely place. SHOW RESPECT to all people and GROVEL TO NONE. When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise MEN to fools and robs the spirit of its vision. When it comes your time to die, be not like those WHOSE HEARTS are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they WEEP and PRAY for a little more time to live their lives over AGAIN in a different way. Sing your death song PROUD and die like a hero GOING HOME.” RLTW!
