Obituary of Laveen Dixon Garner

Laveen Garner, age 70, passed away on March 31, 2014. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 1 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014 in the chapel at Sellars Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the service. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery following the service. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Ms. Garner, formerly of Georgia, lived in Lebanon. She is survived by two sons: Kevin (Susan) Garner and Lee (Sonya) Garner; grandchildren: Madison, McKenzie, Garrett, and Whitley Garner, Amy Joyner, and Jerris (Chris) Chaney; sisters: Christine Pyles, Mary (Leroy) Purcell, and Jane Alvey; sister-in-law: Billie Ray Dixon; and great-granddaughter: Abigail Chaney. She is preceded in death by parents Emory and Bertie A. Dixon, brother Barney Dixon, and brother-in-law Tony Alvey.
