Obituary of Ann Doherty Birdwell

Former owner of Snow White Drive-In, Ann Birdwell, passed away on January 30, 2014 after an extended illness. She recently celebrated her 73rd birthday. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Friday from 2-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service. The Funeral Service is 2 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Sellars Funeral Home. Interment in LaGuardo Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers: Michael Lehew, Chris Lehew, Andy Adsmond, Ernie Adsmond, Tim Edmonds, and Henry Edmonds. Honorary Pallbearers: Staff of Snow White Drive-In, Veterans and Staff of Tennessee State Veterans Home, Roger McKinney, and Jimmy Reed. Ann was preceded in death by husband Everett Birdwell, son-in-law Ernest Adsmond, and siblings Jack and Jim Doherty, and Rose Lester, all of New York. She is survived by children: Billy (Kathy) Wyatt, Patty (Curtis) Lehew, Edie (Paul) Oats, Catherine (Frank) Waring, and Sandra Edmonds, all of Wilson County, and Peggy (Joe) Bozza of New York; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; very special friends: Judy Williams, Roger McKinney, Frank Coven, and Henry Nixon.
