Dear Brenda, I am forever grateful for the blessing of your strength and your willingness to fight until the end. May that strength and brokenness nurture you as you wake each day and plug along. Sorry that I didn't have the opportunity to be with you last Thursday. Blessings Donald

Dear Brenda, I think of your pain, your exhaustion, the fight you fought together with Mark. Mark was always a pretty amazing man, moving forward when he surely did not want to. So are you, Brenda. The devotion and love you gave to Mark was unparalleled and he was quite fortunate to have you as his wife for so many years. May you all rest, find comfort in each other and keep Mark in your hearts always. My deep sadness to all in your family. Fondly, Becky

Brenda: I'm so sorry I was not able to attend the funeral, but was blessed to have spent some time with you and be present at Mark's gravesite when your group of family and friends gathered to pray this past Saturday after the fish fry. My heart was so lifted to know that our Lord has surrounded you with genuinely caring friends, and a Pastor and wife who were by your side through it all. What a blessing it is to know how much He cares for us by preparing the way. Thank you for your strong testimony, also. The Lord's love radiates from you even in the midst of your sorrow. Mark was certainly the recipient of true love through all your caregiving over the past several years that he has been ill. May you find strength and comfort in knowing that you did everything you could do for him until his day of entering eternity! Love,
Jan

Brenda, I want to express my deepest sympathy to you and your family! You and Mark touched my life, and I will never forget either one of you! Thank you for your testimony through what was such a difficult journey! Mark was definitely blessed to have someone like you who stood by side and fought for what was in his best interest. You two are a true example of what it means to go through the good and bad together. I was so blessed to know you both. It's strange how lives intersect for a while and then move us in different directions, but I know we will see each other again someday, if not in this life, than in the next. I wish you life's happiness and am praying that you and your family will find comfort and peace as go through this difficult time. In Him,
Angie
